The Lined Lug type Butterfly Valve is a reliable, leak-free service valve designed for a wide range of demanding requirements in corrosive chemical applications and process industries. The Linded lug buttfly valve is in lug-style with threaded bolt holes. Body liners made from highly stable materials such as PTFE, PTFE-AS (anti-static), PTFE-T (for vacuum service), UHMWPE or PVDF are readily available. Discs can be encapsulated with PFA, PFA-AS (anti-static), ETFE or Polypropylene. Discs can also be furnished in solid one-piece construction from 1.4462 Duplex SS, welded 316L SS, grade 2 Titanium, Hastelloy C, or special alloys. The notched stem with the rated breaking point outside the valve is an important additional safety feature for environmental protection. Of course proper safety factors always have to be considered for pneumatic or electric actuator applications.
