The three-way ball valves are the professional’s choice for hydraulic flow control. The valves are constructed with a common port at the base of the valve body. Any of the three peripheral ports can be connected to the common port – the other ports are totally sealed. The 3-way ball valves are available in L-port or T-port configuration. T-3 orthogonal channels allow each other to cut off China Unicom and the third channel, from triage, the role of collusion. L-type can only connect the two orthogonal channels, while maintaining the third can not be inter-connected channels, only a distribution function. 3-way ball valves can be operated by rotary actuators. The actuators are controlled by a standard voltage for on/off, modulating, or floating point control which moves the valve to the position dictated by the control system.

For processes that put heavy demands on valves, having a 3 piece valve is more convenient than one or two piece ball valves. When seats and seals need to be routinely replaced, having three pieces allows for easy disassembly, servicing and reassembly without having to do major cutting on the pipe.
Three piece ball valves also allow for elastomers to be changed to accomodate different process conditions, temperatures, pressures and flows.
Need to weld the valve in place? Another benefit is being able to move the body with trim out of the way while welding, ensuring the internals stay intact.
